A Waterfront Wedding in Sandbridge | Virginia Beach Wedding PhotograperJeff and Liz were married on a perfect day in late September overlooking the marshes of Back Bay in Sandbridge. When I say a “perfect day”, I mean it - it was perfect. Not only the weather, the people, or the timeline, but absolutely every detail! The day went off without a single hitch, and for a day that can be filled with so much stress, that is a rarity! In the words of the bride, “it was a total dream”. These two met when they both worked at the same company. It started when Jeff saw a new girl sitting in an office, and h was so intrigued that he had to back-up and do a double take! They ended up working together on some projects and became casual work friends, but they both now admit it was hard to play it cool around each other. Fast forward about a year and Liz pretended to like coffee so Jeff would have something to regularly talk to her about. By this time, Jeff had set his sights on Liz, and for a year he used her to set the bar for the type of person he'd want to be with, thinking he'd never actually have a chance with her. (He says that she is way out of his league!) He'd talk about her all the time to his friend (and now best man!) Jay, who finally helped him gain the confidence to ask her out. Well it worked… on their first date they ended up talking for hours and walking around in circles in the rain. The couple says that "the rest is history". How sweet and romantic is that?! During the bride and groom’s first dance, Liz’s sister surprised everyone by joining in with the music on her violin! The beautiful colors of the sunset mingled with the already electric atmosphere to create a truly spectacular moment. I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever seen that much joy during a first dance. Liz and Jeff started by joining hands and swaying in standard “first dance fashion”, but by the end, they were literally jumping up and down, spinning each other around, giggling hysterically as they had the time of their lives together. Their laughter was contagious, and the emotion was palpable as the guests lit up watching the newlyweds enjoy those incredibly special moments together. I hope you enjoy my favorite photos from this perfect, joy-filled day!! Liz, you PERFECT human!!! How gorgeous are these invitations that one of Liz's bridesmaids designed for her?! Jeff, what are your favorite attribute of Liz's? "Her smile, positivity and whole demeanor. She is beautiful through and through and literally like a ray of sunshine. To me, she's perfect, and just as kind hearted and sweet as she is beautiful." - Jeff The Wandering Petal such a fantastic job! Wait until you see the flower chandelier that the couple danced under! ![]() How about these girls!?! STUNNING!! Such a fun and gorgeous group!! They're married!! Mr. and Mrs. White!!! I'm absolutely OBSESSED with you two!!! "Jeff always makes me laugh and while he might pretend to be a “bad boy” he’s such a genuine kind hearted man! He’s the right amount of everything that I have ever wanted! I feel so so lucky that I got to marry him and that we get to spend our lives together." - Liz Melting. Now this is what a first dance should look like!!! Unbridled joy!!! Advice to couples planning a wedding: I really feel like everything works out how it should so don’t sweat the small stuff and just enjoy the day as much as you can! It really does go by in a blur! - Liz Jeff and Liz, Thank you for allowing me to serve you on your wedding day!
