A September Wedding Outer Banks | Knotts Island, North Carolina
Vignesh and Beth were married last month at the beautiful Fair Winds Farm on Knotts Island. I hadn’t been down to this area since I was young, and I had forgotten how gorgeous the island is!! There are marshes on one side, farmland in the middle, and the Knotts Island Bay on the other. The couple held their reception in a tent by the barn, with an open air dance floor under strings of twinkle lights. Everyone was driven out to the ceremony site on the water’s edge with 180 degree views of the bay.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was spectacular, the views were stunning, and most importantly, the guests were excited to celebrate!! Vignesh and Beth are two of the most warm and genuine people that I have ever met, and it was obviously that their guests felt the same way about them. One thing that I loved about the day was how Beth and Vignesh tied in some of the groom's family’s Indian traditions into the day. The ceremony was complete with traditional wedding garlands and elephant statues lining the aisle, and the DJ played some contemporary Indian songs at the reception as well. The dancing that ensued was so much fun to watch! The night ended with a sparkler exit! It doesn’t get better than that!!
ps, Keep an eye out for pictures of the CUTEST little ring bearer and flower girls as well!!
I love a good black and white!!!!
Look at this gorgeous couple!!!
OMG!!! Dying from all this cuteness!!!!
This light!! This couple!!! Ahh!!
Watching the Indian dancing was so much fun!!! I have never wanted to be on the dance floor more than I did this night!!
